I like that you used objects to convey what makes you happy. The different camera angles of you panning around the objects and zooming in and out were really good.
I felt like when the music was playing and you were showing the drums, there was going to be some type of musical band competition (or something like that). I really like the music and the transitions you have.
I did not really get the feeling of happiness from the video. It looked a little bit like a marketing piece. Also like the use of text but I think it needed some color.
This video was definitely geared towards guys. I like the close up of the XBox. Some of the shots were unclear as to what they were, but I liked the camera work. The use of focus to blurry was cool.
I really liked your close up shots. Good composition. The rack focuses were really nice. I do think some of the shots were slightly jumpy though, and I didn't quite think the music fit.
The words at the beginning and end helped me understand what was going on, but without them I may have been a little lost. It did a good job of showing us what makes him happy though. The angles and close ups were pretty clear.
The camera angles and quality were good. But I wasn't able to feel happy afterward. Some of the items seemed random. The xbox and the games were nice because those can create happiness. The dog was also a nice touch.
I really liked how you showed the Xbox light out of focus and then came into focus. I think it was smart to put in the question at the end about deciding what makes you happy.
I liked how your video displayed what makes you happy! The music you chose actually got me pumped to go play a basketball game. I also like how you showed many of your activities.
I think the final part of the video where it asks you what happiness is really ties the whole video together well. At first it almost seems a bit random and disconnected since there were so many things, but then that all suddenly makes perfect sense when the final sentence appears at the end and you realize it's showing lots of different things that make people happy.
I really like how you incorporated things that made you happy. The music went very well with the video and the pace of the transitions were good. The focusing was great with the transitioning.
I like your title and camera work. The change of focus added to the video and made it feel artsy, which went with how you only showed parts of the objects that made you happy. I think if you would have focused on one or two things it might have made the video stronger.
The scene with the Xbox turning on, I love how you began out of focus and slowly went in focus and then once again back out of focus
ReplyDeleteIt's awesome that you showed things that make you happy. It was cool to see your drums, video games, and glass blowing stuff.
